CMS 5th Graders visit Green Lakes State Park

On Wednesday, June 17th, Camden Middle School's 5th Grade White Team went to Green Lakes State Park to learn more about the local ecosystem in the company of one of the region's most unique natural features.

Students went on a "Secrets of the Lake" walk which is a guided hike along a short part of the east beach lake trail and back. Students learned about how the lakes were formed, along with what makes the lake unique and the lake’s food chain. They also completed a scavenger hunt and went to the park's Education Center for a lesson on the lake.
